HowToCreateAssessment# How to Create a New Assessment on IP2M METRR
This guide provides step-by-step instructions on how to create a new assessment on the IP2M METRR tool. It covers everything from logging in to the platform to locating the add participants menu. By following this guide, users can easily create and manage assessments on IP2M METRR.
1. Navigate to https://ip2m.pars.doe.gov/login
2. Enter your login credentials and click "Login".
3. Click "Create New Assessment".
4. Click the "Project ID (required)" field.
5. Type the PARS ID for the project being assessed.
6. Click on the Project Name field.
7. Type the name of the project being assessed.
8. Click on the Project Type field.
9. Click "Capital Asset Project Line Item" or other relevant type.
10. Click on the Assessment Date field.
11. Select the date of the assessment.
12. Click on the Facilitator Name.
13. Type the name of each facilitator and select from the dropdown. Several facilitators can be entered by selecting the facilitator and hitting enter after each facilitator.
14. Click on the Description text box and enter a description for the assessment.
15. Click the "Anonymous to only participants (facilitators and admins can view names associated with assessments)" field.
16. Click "Create Assessment without adding participants".
17. When in an assessment, assessment details can be edited at any time by returning to the Assessment Detail page by clicking the bottom icon in the left menu.
18. Once the assessment is created the next step is to add participants to the assessment. Click on the Participants icon to navigate to the user page.
19. Click "Add Participants In Bulk".
20. Click "User Template".
